Rise of the Chief Neurodiversity Officer

Free publication

According to John Levell of the Levell Partnership, “we need to think differently about “different thinking” because neurodiversity can transform the fortunes of organisations”.  The Levell Partnership has recently published a free article entitled “Rise of the Chief Neurodiversity Officer”

It talks about how successful organisations like Google, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Apple, Tesla, Dyson and many other were founded, or built by neurodiverse individuals – people with conditions like dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and Dyspraxia.  In the UK, around 15% of people are affected by some form of neurodiverse condition.  However, despite prominent role models and high numbers of people being affected, rates of disclosure amongst the staff of most organisations are surprisingly low – Why is that?  And how can organisations take advantage of this diverse talent pool?
